Based on deliciousness appeal, and the fact that I had 90% of the ingredients already in my fridge, I recently came home and made Carrot and Zucchini Fritters (thank you NYTimes)
I desperately need a Mandoline, but until then this cheese grater and a paring knife will do just fine.
Sometimes, even with inappropriate glass wear, you need to break out a little champagne.

The batter doesn't look that appetizing, but it was delicious!

Small cutting board...small mess.
Fry fritters, fry.

I didn't really have any of the ingredients to make the dip so used a little sour cream I had in the fridge, and it was delightful!
This is a great late evening snack! Enjoy.
