It's pasta time!
With just a few simple ingredients, dinner was made.
Sweet and spicy sausage.
I normally like to start cooking sausage in a frying pan with boiling water, and then sear the outside for a crisp finish.
This cooking method is pretty speedy and makes the apartment smell good.
Chopped onions. Always.
A little olive oil garlic bread, wrapped in foil and crispy in the oven.
(Moving forward, I think I will leave the sauce a little more chunky, no need to puree)
I let the sauce simmer for a little over an hour.
This allowed for all the flavors and spices to blend perfectly.
Sausage and tomato bowtie pasta.
Ingredients: crushed tomatoes, garlic, onions, sausage, tomato paste, basil, and noodles
