After happily, and aimlessly wandering around Munich's Englischer Garten we heard the not so subtle sounds of clinking glasses and German/English chatter.
Within the Englischer Garten stands Chinesischer Turm, Munich's most famous beer garden and one of the few gardens that has live traditional Bavarian music.

We grabbed seats at one of the hundreds of green picnic tables and set out to drink some of Germany's best.
On the menu:
Dunkel (dark beer)
Helles (light beer)
Radler a mix of light beer and lemonade.

I found the Dunkel too heavy and bitter
The Radler much too sweet
and the Helles just right!
Each beer requires a deposit of 1 Euro, or else everyone would be walking out with their own complementary stein.
Stein + Red Chip = 1 Euro back

Remind me again why I didn't steal one at the hefty price of 1 Euro?

(Looking back, it would not have survived the rest of the trip.)
