I'm a big fan of a little salad.

And I'm an even bigger fan of this dressing mixing bottle (Carly has all the fun gadgets, I doubt she has to make mashed taters with a wine bottle)

Anyways I digress, this really is the greatest splash free way to mix you oils and vinegars!

We followed Ina's dressing recipe which suggests using champagne vinegar.

Amazon has a great selection of mixers - some are a little aggressive.
